Funding for big needs and big dreams

Improving the quality of life in our community takes a network of strong nonprofits and community groups, and we are proud to invest in their vision, passion and expertise to make it happen.

As an affiliate of the Hutchinson Community Foundation, we've been able to combine our efforts to offer grants in the "baby" years of the foundation. Since 2010, the Buhler CF has made grants to help provide ovens at the Buhler Senior Center, downtown beautification, library renovations, equipment for the Buhler Wellness Center, a Disk Golf Course in Wheatland Park and supplies needed for Citizenship Day and Buhler High School.

Our most notable source of grants is the Fund for Buhler, an unrestricted grantmaking fund that allows us to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. Each summer we select and fund programs demonstrating innovative ideas or critical needs, which can range from health and human services, to the arts, to parks and nature. We also administer grants that focus on specific areas of interest.
